Dr. Kevin Rosin received his bachelor's degree in Optometry from the Rand Academic University in South Africa in 1995. He was subsequently awarded a Certificate of Advanced study from the Graduate Institute of Optometry. Following six years of private practice in South Africa, Dr. Rosin relocated to the United States to obtain his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Dr. Rosin, now a partner, joined Drs. Farkas, Kassalow and Resnick in New York City in 2007 where he focuses his practice on specialty contact lens fittings. He routinely designs scleral contact lenses, manages keratoconus, and prescribes lenses for presbyopia. Dr. Rosin co-manages refractive and cataract surgery patients with leading local and national specialists. Dr. Rosin provides innovative care to patients with dry eye disease and glaucoma. He maintains a strong interest in the management of progressive myopia utilizing the latest technologies in contact lenses and pharmaceuticals. He provides compassionate and innovative care in prescribing low vision aids to the visually impaired. Dr. Rosin is a Principal Investigator in many clinical trials, both for contact lenses and pharmaceuticals. He enjoys mentoring optometry students from the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Rosin is a member and past president of the Optometric Society of New York and a member of the American Optometric Association.
