Dr. Jordan Kassalow, son of the co-founder of the practice, Dr. Theodore Kassalow, is the managing partner at Farkas, Kassalow, Resnick & Associates and joined the practice in 1988. His practice specializes in patients who require advanced contact lens care. He deploys contact lens technologies from across the globe to help patients with keratoconus, corneal transplants, advanced dry eyes, etc. He has deep experience working with scleral, myopia control, multi-focal and other lenses to treat a wide range of patients who require specialized contact lens care. Dr. Kassalow is on the Global Advisory Board of Alcon, and consults for many of the major contact lens companies including Ciba Vision, Cooper Vision and Vistakon (Johnson & Johnson). In addition to his practice, Dr. Kassalow is the Founder of VisionSpring, the Co-founder of the EYElliance, and the founder of the Global Health Policy Program at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he served as an Adjunct Senior Fellow from 1999-2004. Dr. Kassalow is the recipient of awards, from The World Bank, The Aspen Institute, The Clinton Global Initiative, Duke University, Brigham Young University, Notre Dame and others. Dr. Kassalow received his Doctorate of Optometry and Doctor of Humane Letters from the New England College of Optometry and his Masters in Public Health and Fellowship in Preventive Ophthalmology from Johns Hopkins University.
